How is hazardous waste from abatement disposed of?
Regulated abatement waste must be sealed in leak-tight, labeled containers and transported to a licensed disposal facility — never placed in ordinary trash. CT DPH regulations and OSHA standards (29 CFR 1926.1101) require that asbestos-containing debris be double-bagged or containerized, properly labeled, and disposed of at an approved site. We handle the full chain: containment, packaging, hauling, and documented disposal.
We use heavy-duty 6-mil poly bags and approved containers to package regulated debris on site, label each container per regulation, and transport it in leak-tight loads to licensed facilities. This prevents cross-contamination and airborne release during handling and transit.
